When we get few nice days of weather, often people start to panic that their trees are dead and what do I do? Best advice is be patient! There are may varieties of trees in the Delaware Valley region that simply leaf out later than other varieties. This would include trees like crape myrtle, sycamore, sweetgum, beech and elm trees which are all popular trees in our region. Give these trees a little extra time. We are still getting some cool overnight temperatures and that can help too slow the leaf out process.
